These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of District Bot (the “Bot”) operated by CrunchyCode Games Ltd (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using the Bot on Discord, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
1.1 User Information: The Bot collects and stores the following data:
1.2 Data Storage: All data collected by the Bot is stored in a MongoDB database hosted on Microsoft Azure. By using the Bot, you agree to the collection, storage, and processing of your data as outlined in this section.
2.1 Virtual Currency: The Bot operates a virtual economy system where users can earn, spend, and trade virtual currency. This currency has no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for real money or any goods or services outside the Bot.
2.2 Loss of Data: We do our best to ensure the integrity and security of your virtual economy data. However, we are not responsible for any loss of data or currency resulting from technical issues, including but not limited to server outages or data corruption.
2.3 Fair Use: Users must not exploit or manipulate the economy system in ways that undermine the functionality of the Bot or negatively impact other users. Violations may result in suspension or banning from the Bot’s services.
3.1 By using the Bot, you agree to abide by Discord’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Any abusive behavior, spamming, or harassment through the Bot may result in immediate suspension or banning.
3.2 You must not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Bot, nor attempt unauthorized access to the Bot’s database or infrastructure.
4.1 We take reasonable measures to protect the security of the data stored in MongoDB and hosted on Microsoft Azure. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure. By using the Bot, you acknowledge that we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4.2 Third-Party Services: Microsoft Azure is a third-party hosting service that handles data storage. By using the Bot, you also agree to Microsoft Azure’s privacy policy and terms of service.
4.3 Data Retention: User data will be retained as long as the Bot remains active or until a user requests the deletion of their data. You can request to have your data removed by contacting us via hello@crunchycodegames.com.
5.1 The Bot is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Bot will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
5.2 We are not responsible for any loss of data, disruptions, or errors that occur as a result of using the Bot.
6.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Bot, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
7.1 We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms in the Bot’s documentation or a relevant platform. Your continued use of the Bot after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
8.1 We reserve the right to terminate your access to the Bot at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the Bot or the platform.
9.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
